My work is inspired by the words of others.
I collect phrases, sayings, poems, and song, from the past and the present, from the famous and the everyday.
I work from photographs I have taken and drawings I have made, turning these images into screen prints that capture, figuratively, the essence of these words.
The simplicity of colour, line and form convey complex human emotions that are within the lines to which I am drawn ..
I have put some thoughts related to each piece of work in my blog x
These galleries show some of the work that I have produced as a screen printer over the last 3 years. I have put them into galleries related to their subject not in relation the order in which they were made.
